Description
1
Medium Shot/ High-angle Shot

As Mr. McGowen gives Cameron advice, a medium high-angle shot from the teacher's perspective shows that he is the adult.
2
Medium Shot
Euan Clealand-Orgle
Sebastian Richmond
Scene 2 requires a medium shot when Cameron is working at the wipe board so that you can see the writing on the board clearly whilst also capturing the protagonist.  We also want to utilize a medium shot to show the conversation between mentor and student.
3
Two Shot
Euan Clealand-Orgle
Sebastian Richmond
A two shot shows the protagonist and mentor. This is done with the purpose of showing that the protagonist and the mentor are close, highlighting how Mr McGowen cares Cameron.
4
Close Up
Euan Clealand-Orgle
Sebastian Richmond
We want a close up of Cameron so that you can focus on his reaction rather than the mentor.
We will still film a close up which includes the mentor, just in case we need it for editing.

Medium Longshot
Euan Clealand-Orgle
Sebastian Richmond
We want to get a medium long shot through the window of a classroom door to introduce the mentor and the setting.

A two shot between Cameron and Vince is to suggests they have had a relationship in the past, so they are not complete strangers.

This would hopefully show that they are the main characters in the trailer.

We wanted a close up of the protagonist face looking calm in both situations to show how he handles his business. This confirms that he has no intent on telling his sister the truth.

Description
1
High-angle Shot/ Over-the-shoulder Shot/ Close Up
Euan Clealand-Orgle
Yazdan Akhond Dezfuli
The angle shows how Vince is a dominating character who has power over Cameron as he pushes him up against a wall and threatens him.

We see the protagonist's fearful expression and the antagonizing boy language of Vince - proxemics now suggest that they are no longer on friendly terms.
Props:
  • Wall
  • I-Phone

This combined film schedule with camera shot list should be easy to follow as it was done in accordance with the script, so we already know what action should be taking place, even without a story board. We are also free to be flexible in filming certain scenes at times that fit around us, despite the specific order of these plans. As long as we have a guideline to refer to, we know what shots need to be filmed but can still improvise around this without getting confused. It allows us to film our scenes straightaway as we don't have to think too much about the shots we need to use as we already have the list.

Because of this efficient plan, we will also have time later on to improvise and decide on the shots for any fast scenes that don't include dialogue, without needing a plan like this. There is no measurable time or date which we can predict to film these within as they have not been planned or thought about yet.
